Established in the late 1980s, the company has many years of experience in the manufacture of folding bellows for articulated buses, trucks, mobile site facilities and airport passenger bridge canopies.
In 2012, the company was acquired by international group, HÜBNER GmbH & Co. KG, which has its headquarters in Kassel, Germany.
Bellow and Bus (Pty) Ltd is a manufacturing facility located in Meyerton near Johannesburg, South Africa, producing folding bellows for the entire Southern Africa Development Community (SADC) region.
Bellow and Bus (Pty) Ltd also supplies related components for articulated buses, such as HÜBNER articulations, floor plates, etc. In addition, the company manufactures special purpose bellows for wharf to ship connections, connecting buildings or containers as well as other applications.
More recently, Bellow and Bus (Pty) Ltd added gangway systems for trains to its product range.
